I’ve decided to separate Options from the portfolio. I might discontinue them altogether since buying options involves considerable risk. Selling options for income or writing covered calls may be how I will proceed in the future.
Since I made an options trade already, I feel an absolute need to account for it. It is actual money that as of today has mostly been lost. Some sites make changes and losses mysteriously vanish with those changes. I won’t due that ever. My integrity is far more valuable to me than money.
As of 9 April 2007:
10 NAL May 17.5 calls at .90 is the only trade taken.
Options symbol: NALEW current value: .25
This position was closed for one nice dime (.10). Nearly, a total loss and an expensive reminder about buying options especially on rumors. Rumors are difficult to trade. If you need to gamble, and that’s really want rumor trading is, then gamble small.
